What is a Conditional Green Card?

In an EB -5 immigrant is granted a “conditional green card”, which is a temporary green card that is valid for two years. At year and nine months after being issued a three-month window during which the investor has to submit another application (Form I-829 ) with Citizenship and Immigration US opens to verify that all funds remaining investment and 10 jobs were safeguarded or created, directly or indirectly. When the conditions of permanent residence are released, the investor gets the full permanent residence and receive a green card. A short time later, the person may submit an application for naturalization and become a citizen of the United States and receive a US passport.
